About

I dislike presenting hard skills because I find them restrictive: my most “hard skill” is that I am the fastest and most curious learner I’ve ever met.

I graduated from Chongqing University with a degree of Civil Engineering in 2016. In 2018, I self-studied and entered the world of programming, working as a Big Data Engineer at a blockchain company. In 2019, I began working at Nike and have been there since. Both companies built their data services on AWS.

Consider me not on what I’ve learned already but what I am capable of deeply understanding in the future. For example, I integrated digital consumer order for the entire lifecycle based on the existing data warehouse within six weeks. This single data source meets all digital reporting needs, significantly improves data quality, and maximizes the value of data.

Besides technology, I like sports, particularly boxing and running. I achieved my personal best of 3 hours and 8 minutes in the Osaka Marathon in Japan in 2024.

Projects

Digital Consumer Order Lifecycle Integration at Nike (2024)

Integrated all digital channel orders, tracking the status throughout the entire lifecycle from order placement, order cancellation, and outbound shipment to delivery by courier, as well as returns and exchanges, for use by the Digital data analysis team in creating dashboards.

Technologies used: PySpark, Hive, Airflow.

Consumer Promise Review at Nike (2023)

Integrated supply chain information for digital, Nike direct stores, and Nike partner, tracking multi-dimensional metrics such as shipment volume, air freight ratio, on-time delivery rate, split order rate, multi order rate, inter-region rate, and warehouse efficiency to support business team decision-making with data.

Technologies used: PySpark, Hive, Airflow.

GC Inbound Transportation at Nike (2022)

Manage the inbound shipment process from factories to the GC Central DC, optimizing transport modes and tracking shipment stages to ensure timely inventory deployment.

Technologies used: PySpark, Hive, Airflow, Snowflake, Box.

United Intelligent Inventory at Nike (2019)

Created a system for real-time data aggregation and demand forecasting to optimize inventory replenishment based on machine learning algorithms.

Technologies used: PySpark, Hive, Airflow, Snowflake.

Cryptocurrency Transaction Data Analysis Platform at Shouyi Information Technology (2018)

Built a big data platform for real-time and offline analysis of cryptocurrency transactions, including user token holdings, abnormal transaction detection, and average transaction interval calculations.

Technologies used: Flume, Kafka, Structured Streaming, Aurora.
